Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 3 tablespoons of organic vanilla sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions
- Mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
- In a seperate bowl, mix the melted butter, brown sugar, white sugar, and vanilla sugar until well blended. Beat in the vanilla, egg, and egg yolk until light and creamy.
- Blend everything together into one bowl. Stir in the chocolate chips by hand.
- Place in fridge and chill for twenty minutes.
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Grease cookie sheet or line with parchment paper.
- Removing from fridge, drop cookie dough onto the cookie sheet, and softly press down with palm to flatten (just a smidget!). Space according to size.
- Bake for 17-20 minutes in the oven, or until the edges are lightly toasted. Let cool for a few minutes before placing on a plate to enjoy. ♥
