Hoagies: Pizza&Vegetarian ♥

Here is a recipe I've always known, it's an easy to make sub =)
There are two versions my friend Erika and I made today;
one is VEGETARIAN and white sauce based,
the other is marinara based with meatsies

Ingredients(for two):
  • 2 hoagie rolls
  • four cheese alfredo sauce
  • marinara sauce
  • pepperoni slices
  • italian sausage
  • pepperjack cheese
  • mozzarella cheese
  • sprouts
  • shrooms

*all topping ingredients can be changed according to liking (ex. opt for pesto sauces or a different kind of cheese)

Directions:

  1. line a flat baking pan with tin foil and preheat oven to 325 degrees F
  2. With each hoagie roll, cut off the top of the roll, making the top as thin as possible
  3. Scoop out most of the bottom part; making it hallow.
  4. Pour sauce into the hallow part. Marinara for the pizza hoagie, alfredo for the vegetarian hoagie.
  5. Top with cheese slices layering over the sauce for both hoagies. Add shrooms to both. For the pizza hoagie add desired pepperoni and sausage slices.
  6. Only put the bottom parts on the pan, and cook for 19 minutes. Add the tops to the pan and continue to cook for five minutes
  7. Remove from oven and allow five minutes to cool.
  8. Top with sprouts and enjoy!

Best Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 cup packed brown sugar

  • 1/2 cup white sugar

  • 3 tablespoons of organic vanilla sugar

  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

  • 1 egg

  • 1 egg yolk

  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.

  2. In a seperate bowl, mix the melted butter, brown sugar, white sugar, and vanilla sugar until well blended. Beat in the vanilla, egg, and egg yolk until light and creamy.

  3. Blend everything together into one bowl. Stir in the chocolate chips by hand.

  4. Place in fridge and chill for twenty minutes.

  5. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Grease cookie sheet or line with parchment paper.

  6. Removing from fridge, drop cookie dough onto the cookie sheet, and softly press down with palm to flatten (just a smidget!). Space according to size.

  7. Bake for 17-20 minutes in the oven, or until the edges are lightly toasted. Let cool for a few minutes before placing on a plate to enjoy. ♥
